How to get thick, naturally frizzy hair perfectly straight?

Everyday i use a ceramic flat iron on my naturally thick, frizzy hair and it'll get straight for the most part, but it will have curves and the ends of it will always curl up and flip out. How do I prevent this from happening, and how do I keep it as straight as possible?
