Is it completely normal for a teenager to have strong feelings for his teacher?

Hi, a year ago I had this teacher. She was breathtaking, curvy body big boobs (im not being horny they were massive) awesome butt and long legs. Every ones was standing outside the classroom perving at her. I mean everyone at my school wanted her, but for me it was different. I wanted to get to know her but not to have sex with her or anything like that. (if the opportunity was to present itself i would of) but i looked past her body and looks and felt that i should talk to her and not stare her down like a piece of meat. Is this normal or am i just really that desperate?
