My bearded dragon isn't eating what should i do ?

hi i have just got a bearded dragon was told he was about 2-2 and a half years old i've had him now about a week and he has hardly ate a thing he has ate a few large morio worms when i have dropped them in the tank right in-front of his eye line but apart from that nothing tried him on veg and he wasn't interested the lady i got him from said he was eating fine and likes to take meal worm from a spoon tried that and no joy. i have tried leaving morio worms in a bowl for him he just looks at it and walks away same with the meal worms and veg. he also hasn't been very active he just sort of lies about and does a bit of climbing to get under his ceramic bulb when i let him out he does have a wonder about. when i went to pick him up there was a female beardie in another viv which i have no idea if they were ever kept together if this could have some thing to do with it if he maybe missing her?? ive also noticed him head bobbing and i have read this is a sign of showing whos boss do you thing he just doesnt like his new home? i do have a young daughter could noise in the house be apart of the issue hope some one can help im starting to get a bit worried and i dont want people to think im not looking after him properly. thanks for reading
