Questions about Hibiscus flowers...?

I recently planted 3 hibiscus plants in my backyard and have noticed that the blooms (which are breathtaking and bright orange) wilt after one day and then die... is this normal behavior for them? The plant guide that comes with them says that they grow 10-15 feet but in my research a lot of people uproot them and move them indoors during cold weather. Is this recommended during the winter season for these? If so, how difficult is the transition on the plants? I am VERY new to the planting of flower beds so any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated!
