Tangled Movie-Lantern scene (ripoff????)?

Ok so I just watched the movie Tangled and LOVED it!!! My only problem with it was the Lantern scene. I really liked that scene, it was so romantic and breathtaking. However i feel like it was soooo similar to Kiss a girl in the little mermaid. Instead of fireflies it was lanterns. They both almost kissed in the canoe. i dont know i felt like it ripped off the little mermaid. ANyone agree????
